Bio-Power | Lakyn Hann
As a queer and non-binary individual, my body often becomes a topic of discussion. My expressions of masculinity and femininity are frequently questioned and scrutinized. In this series, "Bio-Power," I engage with Michel Foucault's theory by examining how various perspectives—those focused on biological sex, legislation and policing, and religious interpretations of gender and reproduction—attempt to discipline and define my identity.

I'm in my last semester of university, impatiently awaiting the moment when I'll be released into the world and endlessly reflecting on all that has brought me here. The past is kneeling down with an offering, constructed of collaged drawings made in the past year or two and as far back as childhood....

Small Rewards | Tuesday Troup
Small Rewards brings together fifteen ten-inch star-shaped oil paintings arranged to resemble a collection of badges, tokens, or small emblems. Installed together, the works read as fragments of memory: objects, images, and symbols drawn from personal history, pop culture, and visual references that evoke nostalgia while also carrying something slightly uncanny.
