"I like to draw and paint things that I feel more than the things I see, it makes my art feel more personal and has more ways of looking at it than just in a single way. Familiar Faces is a series of oil paintings based on expressing emotions through colour. It has a very personal meaning, but I feel that everyone can interpret these paintings on a personal level as well. They were all done in order from adrift being the first to reflection which is the last. "
About the Artist:
Maneet Kambo is a young emerging artist who works with a variety of mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolour, printmaking and more. She's had a passion for art since she was a young child. Her work heavily incorporates colour symbolism and expressionism.
